Regex for Matching Digits Only

Matches a string made up entirely of numeric digits.

Key points

• \d is shorthand for [0-9] in most regex flavors
• Doesn't allow a leading + or - sign, or decimal points — extend the pattern if those are needed

Example

^\d+$
